Francoise Read's The Snail Family and Wildflower Frolic Corners | Creative Expressions
Hello Friends!
I have a few cards to share today as part of my first post as part of the Creative Expressions Design Team!! I'm so delighted to join this great team and I have been having so much fun playing with these cute products! I've been doing so much paper-piecing lately that I'm thoroughly enjoying stamping and inks again!

These cards feature the cute little Snail Family by Francoise Read (FRS419) and the Woodware Pebble Dash Stencil (FRST059). For the first card I stenciled the pebble dash with embossing medium and heat embossed this with Midnight Blue Ultra Thick Embossing Powder! The result is stunning right!? I then enjoyed using my Distress Inks with a water brush to add some ink to those snails on some CE Watercolour Cardstock. With a bit of fussy cutting and one of the sentiments from the set this mini slimline card was a joy to put together!
For the second card, I used my white paper scraps and added some Distress Oxide Inks in this pretty pastel colour palette. I cut the inked cardstock into strips of varied sizes and attached them to the card base (5" x7"). Next I used my stamp positioner to stamp out the cute snail couple with a bit of ink masking and Versafine Onyx Black ink. The little sentiment is from the CE Everyday Sentiment Wordies Sheet pack. These really come in handy and can be foiled if desired.
This final card was made from the Wildflower Frolic Corner Die (CEDPC1206). I simply cut 5-A2 sized cardstock panels from white and 4 shades of turquoise cardstock. I adhered them together in a slightly offset fashion and attached it to an A2 card base. The best part about this die is that you get a bunch of little confetti pieces in stars, branches, etc. I kept these when cutting the turquoise cardstocks and randomly adhered them to the white front and around the sentiment, which is also from the CE Everyday Sentiment Wordies Sheet pack. Finally, I used some Mercury Glass Stickles to add a bit of shine to the wild flowers and as random spots throughout the design.
