Hello Friends!
I love stitching dies and their versatility, and I'll admit I try my best to use them with embellishments instead of actually stitching them. I just love the way embellishments look on them, however, this set really needs the stitching to do those shells justice. I used some metallic thread and added some pink pearls. The sentiment was foiled from the add-on set and I added a few stamped and die cut pieces from the clear stamp for June. This set is called Stitched Shell Card Front and is available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store right now!!

This month's stitching die has 3 shell dies that can be cut and stitched for the provided card front panel. There is one larger shell that goes at the top of the large die cut and there are two smaller shells used to cut 6 shells for the rest of the panel. You can choose to cut all of them or a few, or you could actually use just the cardfront panel without the added shells, as they have some embossed lines on them.
I cut all of the layers of this cardfront panel and stitched the shells in gold and silver metallic thread. I foiled one of the add-on set sentiments in pink foil on the center panel and assembled the cardfront. There is an outline die so you can make this card front panel a shaped card as well. I chose to back mine onto a pink panel embossed with the 3D embossing folder for June. I added the stitched shells with foam adhesive and added some pink pearls. I also had some stamped and die cut flowers and shells left from my clear stamp and die project, so I used them here.
And that's my inspiration for the June 2023 Stitching Die of the Month!
