August Large Die of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

  Hello Friends!

This month's Large Die is called Blooming Pomegranate and I decided to do something a little different. I made a box out of rose gold matte metallic cardstock using my We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board. Then I embossed it using the Embossing Folder of the Month called Arches & Dots. I folded together the box and added the pomegranate bloom attaching it to one side of the flap so that you can still easily open and close the box. I hope this alternative way of using these dies gets your creative juices flowing! Both kits are available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store NOW!!

As mentioned in the intro, this gift box was super easy to put together using the We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board. After everything was scored, punched and creased, I put the cardstock through my diecutting machine twice using the Arches & Dots Embossing Folder of the Month.

I used the instructions on the packaging to cut and put together the florals, leaves and pomegranates from the Large Die of the Month. It was very straight forward. All you really need to do is pick a desired colour scheme!

Then I affixed the vine to one flap on the top of the gift box so you can still open and close the box. I also added the Thanks tag using the Assorted Tag Dies (an older set). I hope you like this idea!
