Stenciling with Colour Palettes For Cardmakers and Papercrafters | Spellbinders October 2024 Club Kits

 Hello Friends!

 Today I’m sharing some stenciled cards made with the
Spellbinders October Club Kits, which are now open for new subscribers/members. I'm using some colour schemes that I found online with equivalent coloured inks to create some ornament backgrounds using the Stencil of the Month. Then I use bits and pieces from the other kits to make these backgrounds into cards. Card 1

This card uses the colour scheme image below which I found online. I simply took my swatch book that I have of all my inks and tried to match these colours with the swatches. And that’s how I chose my inks.

This card uses the sentiment from the Glimmer Kit of the Month, which is a nice large Merry Christmas in a gorgeous scripty font! And on the inside of the card, I used the Clear Stamp of the Month. 

Card 2

This card uses the following kits: Stencil of the Month and BetterPress of the Month. And the colour palette was taken from the image below. I also added some silver DMC string behind the sentiment. And on all of these cards I’ve used some specialty or glitter cardstock from Spellbinders which really comes in handy for adding shiny details to your cards!

Card 3

The colour palette was taken from the image below and this card really lets the ornaments take center stage. I used the Spellbinders Diamond dies and taped two together with washi to create a frame from silver cardstock. I did this in 3 sizes and arranged them on the background and added the cut off overhanging pieces to create more than 3 diamonds on the card. I used the Clear Stamp of the Month to stamp out the sentiment in one of the ornaments. 

Finally, I added some shimmer with stickles and nuvo dream drops along with some gems and pearls!
