LawnFawn Jump For Joy Fall Critters! | Make the Cards Challenge 31

 Hello and welcome back!

Here is another post for Make the Cards Challenge #31. This one is a 3-2-1 challenge and this time we want to see 3 colours of cardstock, 2 critters and 1 stencil! So let your imaginations run wild and join in the fun!

So because of the critter criterion, I decided to use the LawnFawn Jump For Joy stamp set. LawnFawn is notorious for critters so I could not resist! And even though there are a few weeks of summer left, I thought a fall card would be perfect.

As always, a video is posted below for your viewing pleasure. If you prefer reading, a little summary of the process is below the video. 

- Cut 3 - 1 3/4" x 4" pieces from pink, yellow and white Recollections cardstock. Tape these together with white in the center.

- Use a palette knife to spread Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste over Memory Box Modern Pinpoint Floral stencil on top of the 3-colour cardstock piece (make sure to wash stencil and wipe of palette knife right away) then let dry

TIP: Use some Press N' Seal over your Glimmer Paste jar and then tightly fasten the lid to stop it from drying out.

- While the piece is drying, stamp out the images from the LawnFawn Jump For Joy stamp set using Finesse Spectrum Noir Flagstone ink on white cardstock

- Use Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers to colour in images: 

Leaves - Bright Pink & Pale Pink Blends
Fox - Dark Red Blend & Tan Blend, face - Fair Skin Blend,  Pale Pink Blend (cheeks)
Rake - Tan Blend
 Hedgehog - Brown Grey Blend & Fair Skin Blend

- Cut out images with coordinating dies and Sizzix Sidekick

- Stamp out the "Jump for Joy" and "It's your Birthday" sentiment in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink on white cardstock. Cut to size and/or fussy cut.

- arrange images on dried glitter paste piece and glue on with BearlyArt Glue and foam squares

- Cut an A2 sized top folding card base out of Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover Paper, 80lb 100 bright white cardstock

- Use Kitsch Flamingo and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks with blending brushes to blend the pink into the yellow on the opposite corners of the card as shown

- Use Honey Bee Stamps Inside: Birthday Stamp set tp stamp out sentiment in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and VersaFine Clair Charming Pink ink

- adhere the additional leave pile and leaf images with foam squares to card inside

- attach card front panel to card base with Be Creative tape

- embellish with Silver LolliBeads and add Diamond Stickles to the leaves
