Brighter Days Frame | Pinkfresh Studio March Challenge

Hello and Welcome!

Today I have a card that I was inspired to make from the Pinkfresh Studio March Monthly Challenge. This one is about frames and I loved the chosen colour palette! So I decided to make a frame out of the beautiful florals from the Brighter Days Set.

For this post I have a short video/reel you can view below!

The process for making this card is outlined below:

- Use the Brighter Days Foil Plate to foil the images in Spellbinders Silver Foil and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

- Lightly add ink with blending brushes to the florals and leaves using the following inks: Altenew Baby Pink, Altenew Sunkissed, Altenew Volcano Lake, Altenew Lagoon and Altenew Warm Sunshine.

- Foil the Arch Backdrop Hot Foil Plate with Silver Foil twice on light peach cardstock and cut them out (or use coordinating die)

- Cut a 6.75" x 4.75" white cardstock panel, then interlock the arches and adhere them to the panel

- Arrange the Brighter Days images around the edges of the panel, adding some with foam squares and some with Bearly Art Glue, cutting off any overhanging bits

- Foil and cut the Sentiment using the Pinkfresh Perfect Sentiments Plate and die along with a silver glitter duplicate to create a shadow

- Adhere the sentiment with foam tape and the panel to a 5" x 7" white landscape top folding card base

-Embellish with Pinkfresh Glacier Jewels and some smaller AB Nail Art Gems

And that is how I completed this card! I absolutely love the soft colour palette and felt the floral frame was fitting for this challenge!

I hope you've been inspired to make something similar of your own! And don't forget to leave a comment, as I do love hearing from you! Also, please make sure to follow me on Instagram: @deezinesbyd
