Card 1
For the first card, I used the Layered Cherry Blossoms die set which is a joy to work with since the group of cuts for each flower are contained within one die, making die cutting faster! For a more in- depth tutorial on this card please click the YouTube link above.
Card 2
For this card, I started by cutting the frame from Sizzix White Glitter cardstock and Grey cardstock using the Half Slimline Oval dies. I cut them twice and adhered them together. I then used the Layered Lilies dies to cut 6 flowers, 3 vines and some leaves out of white cardstock. I added color with Distress Oxide Inks in Tattered Rose, Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw for the flowers, and Mowed Lawn and Pines Needles for the leaves and vines. I then assembled the flowers which was actually easier than it looks.
I cut a full slimline panel of Sizzix Silver Matte cardstock (allowing for a 1/8 inch border) and adhered the half oval pieces with the long edge in the center to change up the design a bit. I adhered the flowers, leaves and vines with a combination of foam squares and Bearly Art Glue. I also added the Beautiful Friend sentiment (Half Slimline Ovals Set) which was cut from Spellbinders Peony Pinks Glitter Foam. This glitter foam is so nice to work with for die cutting sentiments since it keeps its dimension and the glitter stays on the foam (which means no glitter hands) - not to mention the colors are stunning!
I added a couple lilies on the inside of the card too along with some Trinity Stamps Bubble Blow Out Embellishments to finish off the front. And finally I added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the centers of the lilies.
Card 3
This was a really fast and nice card to make. I used the Sweet Leaf Mini Slimline dies to cut the leaf background out of the teal colored glitter foam from Spellbinder's Shimmering Tropics Glitter Foam Pack. And I was really careful when removing the negative pieces but they came out nicely and I can officially say that the glitter foam die cuts a large intricate die very well! Nothing tore and it kept it's shape! I adhered it to a white mini slimline card base with Bearly Art Glue. I used the flower dies from the set to cut the flowers from white and Saltwater Taffy Oxide Ink colored cardstock. I assembled the flowers and adhered them all over the leafy background.
The Thanks sentiment was made from stacked die cuts with the top in Sizzix Silver Matte cardstock and the die was from Yana's Scripty Sentiments die set. I finished off this card with some silver nail art gems in the center of the flowers and some Altenew Enamel Dots.
Card 4
I started by foiling a Diagonal Glimmer Stripes Plate with Silver Matte Foil on white cardstock and cutting it down to the size of the plate. I took the negative foil and foiled a section in the bottom left using the Essential Glimmer Solid Circle plate (also released this month) in the same foil. I used a circle punch to cut out the circle and attached this so the lines match up with the background with some craft foam.
I used the Layered Cherry Blossoms set to cut out a bunch more flowers from white cardstock and added color like I did in the first card in this post. I used the negative cardstock piece with wash tape to inlay the flower die cuts and then brushed on some Altenew Inks in Galactic Stream and Pink Pearl. I arranged and adhered the florals around the edge of the glimmer circle with foam squares and Bearly Art glue. I cut the leaves and the flower centers from Sizzix Charcoal Mirror cardstock and arranged these around the flowers.
I used acetate and Black Foil to glimmer the sentiment from the Sentiments For Everyday set and cut it out with the coordinating die which comes with the set. I adhered this to the card using clear foam squares. Finally I adhered the panel to a white card base allowing for a 1/8 inch border. I embellished it with some Rosewater Nuvo Jewel Drops and some Silver Gems for the flower centers.
And that is my card inspiration for the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection! All of the products used here have been listed below - Happy Shopping!
