Focal Point Mother's Day Card | Pigment Craft Co.

 Hello and Welcome!

Recently, I received a substantial craft haul from Pigment Craft Co. and I'm excited to share this Mother's Day Card I made with these goodies! I finally got my hands on the re-inkers for the beautiful palette of ink they offer and I'm in heaven! For my Canadian friends who haven't heard of it, Pigment Craft Co is a Canadian Business and I am always content when I don't have to pay any duties or brokerage! 😁

The process for making this card is outlined below:

- Cut out an oval twice, once from white cardstock and once from Sizzix Gold Glitter cardstock, using Spellbinders second largest oval in the Fluted Classics Ovals set

- Use the oval as a guide to align the base of the flower image from the Pigment CC Hole In My Heart Fillers stamp set. The oval should be centered on a 4.75" x 6.75" white cardstock panel and the flower base should be stamped at North, East, South and West on the panel using PCC Balsam Ink.

- In the same manner, position and stamp out the 3 flowers in PCC Medina Ink, heat emboss the flower and leaf detail stamp with Altenew Rose Gold EP

- Now line up the same stamps using the oval as a guide for the base of the flowers in the NE, SE, SW and NW positions and stamp with PCC Juniper ink (flower base), Blush Ink (flowers) and Aloe Ink (Leaf detail). I did not stamp the flower detail for these.

- Position and heat emboss with Altenew Rose Gold EP, the MUM sentiment using the Pigment Craft Co. Dashing Mini Fonts Stamp set on the die cut oval

- Use the coordinating embossing oval to emboss the outer edge of the oval ( I added this later as I wasn't sure if it would fit with the sentiment)

- Attach the embossed oval to the glitter oval in an offset fashion with foam strips, and attach this to the center of the card panel

- Die cut the largest ribbon from the PCC Ribbons + Wreaths Die set from white cardstock

- Using the handy alphanumeric print on the PCC Ribbons + Wreaths Stamp set, stamp out the ribbon on the die cut image (inlayed back into the negative cardstock using a stamp positioner) in the order written on the stamp set (just click on my YT video above if you're confused about this!) I used PCC Himalayan and Blush Ink

- Adhere the ribbon to the bottom of the oval in the center

- Cut a 5" x 7" white card base and stamp the single flower image with the darker inks on the bottom left inside of the card

- Adhere the front panel to the card base and embellish with Pinkfresh Peach Fuzz Jewels and AB Crystal Gems

And that is my Pigment Craft Co. inspiration for today! I'm actually excited at how this one turned out and will be making many more of these!

I hope you've been inspired to make something similar of your own! And don't forget to leave a comment, as I do love hearing from you! Also, please make sure to follow me on Instagram: @deezinesbyd
