Card 1

My first card is a Twist Pop Up card and I made this one a Thanksgiving card! I know we're just getting into spring and I'm already thinking about autumn. However, when I saw these pie dies I immediately thought of pumpkin pie! Not to mention these sets are what I like to call year round sets - they can be used for any and all occasions year round. You can make a Christmas pie, a Thanksgiving pie and even a Spring pie (which is what I did for my second card). You can find a more detailed process in the YouTube Tutorial linked above!

Card 2

So this is my "Spring Pie" card. I chose to make this one a mini slimline and embossed a 3.75" x 5.75" navy cardstock panel with the Spellbinders Geo Screen Embossing Folder. I cut out the serving utensil and plate using the Dish It Up die set and Sizzix Opulent cardstocks in Gold Mirror, Gold Matte and Ivory Shimmer. I then cut out the pie pieces using the Serve A Slice set. I made the pie inside a royal blue and the topping was cut from blue glitter cardstock from my DCWV Glitter Stack. For the crust, I inked up the die cuts with Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Oxide inks to create a realistic looking crust that  has been baked. I used some tape and my Bearly Art Glue to assemble the pie and attached it to the plate, then onto the embossed panel. I attached the panel to a 4" x 6" white card base. I also added the white whipped topping and a couple blueberries cut from the blue and blue glitter cardstock using the dies from the Delicious Decorations set.

I cut out some flowers and leaves from white cardstock using the Spellbinders Mini Blooms and Sprigs die set and using the flowers and leaves included in the Delicious Decorations set. I added ink using Altenew inks in Wisteria, Hydrangea, Peach Perfect, Pink Pearl, Pinkalicious, Coral Bliss and Sweet Leaf. I also cut out some other leafy elements from Sizzix Gold Matte cardstock. I added the assembled flowers and leaves around the pie to create a spring look. The sentiment was foiled in Spellbinders Matte Gold foil using a sentiment from the Everyday Mini Sentiments Glimmer Plate set. This set had the perfect sentiment which included the word "sweet", so I thought it would work with this pie card. I used the included banner die to cut out the sentiment strip, along with a Matte Gold shadow and adhered this to the card with a foam strip. Finally, I embellished the card with my Crystal AB Nail Art Gems and some Pinkfresh Studio Champagne Pearls.

Card 3

For my final card, I decided to mainly use all of the cute elements in the Delicious Decorations die set.  I cut out all of the apples, cherries, blueberries, limes, oranges and lemons from coloured cardstock, glitter cardstocks and from the Glitter Foam Spellbinders released this month. I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" grey panel and added the two borders on the top and bottom, which was made using Sizzix Ivory Glitter and Gold Matte cardstock. The little rectangles and squares are actually from the Delicious Decorations set too and I propped those up with foam squares.

The "sweet" sentiment was cut using the Spellbinders Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet in white cardstock and shadowed with Gold Matte. The "sending birthday wishes" sentiment is actually one strip from the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plates set foiled in Matte Gold foil. I just cut the sentiment between the first two words to add the "Sweet" in between them. The entire sentiment was attached with foam tape and then I added the fruit all around in a random fashion. I finished this card by attaching the panel to an A2 sized white cardstock base and embellished it with AB Crystal Nail Art Gems and Pinkfresh Glacier Jewels.

And that is my card inspiration for the Pie Perfection Collection! I have to say these pies are an great addition to my stash and I can't wait to pull them out for Christmas! And all of the little dies in the Delicious Decorations set are great to use with other sets, including those small rectangles and squares! Well that's all from me for this month's Spellbinders release. All of the products used here have been listed below - Happy Shopping!
