Geometric Background Masculine Card | Make The Cards Challenge 56

 Hello Again!

This week's Make The Cards Challenge 56 is a theme challenge and we thought masculine cards would be appropriate for June! I always have problems with masculine cards and I find I usually reach for geometric products. This card is no different.

This is another pretty quick card to make, which I always love especially for mass production! I simply took an A2 sized panel of white cardstock and ink blended Speckled Egg, Evergreen Bough and Chipped Sapphire Oxide inks in that order to create a colour gradient. I then die cut it with the Geo Tiles Cover Die from Pinkfresh Studio. I adhered the die cut background and the frame it cut onto an A2-sized white card base with Bearly Art Glue.

Next, I used my Pinkfresh Studio Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil plate and coordinating dies to foil the sentiments onto dark blue cardstock in Spellbinders Pewter foil and cut them out. When I do this I usually like to keep my Pinkfresh Studio Solid Plate handy so I can foil the negative foils and cut them out as well. I didn't end up using them on this project but I keep them in a tin for future use. I love doing this and it really comes in handy when making quick cards.

I adhered the Birthday Wishes sentiments with foam squares and embellished the background with Pinkfresh Studio Sapphire Jewels.

And that's how easy it was! I hope that this idea appeals to you and you can use it in your crafting! I encourage you to check out the rest of the designer's inspiration and create your own card to link up to the challenge page for a chance to be the challenge winner.

As always, thanks for stopping by. And don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! And don't forget to follow me on Instagram @deezinesbyd!
