Quick Backgrounds with Oxide Inks and Mini Stencils | Creative Expressions

 Hello Friends!

Today's cards feature the Mini Stencils that Creative Expressions released this week. They're perfect for making backgrounds or borders. I used them with my Ranger Oxide Inks and with a few different techniques, I created these 3 cards in about an hour.

Card 1

For this card I used Oxide inks in Pine Needles, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender along with the Creative Expressions Mini Stencil Diamond Trellis (CEMSDIAMT). I ink blended the card panel and used a wet paper towel with the stencil to create the oxide effect with the stencil. I added the sentiment from a CE Wordies pack and embellishments with Mercury Stickles.

Card 2

For this one I used Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon and Black Soot along with the Creative Expressions Mini Stencil All In Stripes (CEMSALLIN). I randomly ink-blended the background and then used the Black Soot with the stencil.  I added the sentiment from a CE Wordies pack and embellishments with Mercury Stickles.

Card 3

For this final card, I used Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Wild Honey and Candied Apple Oxide Inks using the Creative Expressions Mini Stencil Elegant Swirls (CEMSELEGANT). And again I added the sentiment from a CE Wordies pack and embellishments with Mercury Stickles.
