Creative Expressions Designer Boutique Snow Dome

 Hello Friends and Crafters!

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card featuring the Creative Expressions Designer Boutique Snow Dome stamp set (UMSDB115). I did some water colouring using various distress inks and added some white acrylic paint splatter for an artistic feel. I hope you like it!

I started by stamping out the image in Onyx Black VersaFine ink and heat set it to avoid any type of ink smearing. I then grabbed my water brush and used Distress Inks in following colours to watercolour the stamped image:

-Dusty Concord

-Faded Jeans

- Stormy Sky

- Tumbled Glass

- Cracked Pistachio

- Aged Mahogany

-Candied Apple

- Mustard Seed

- Scattered Straw

- Forest Moss

-Pine Needles

- Peeled Paint

 After the panel was dry for the most part, I mixed some white acrylic paint with water and splattered it on the image with a paint brush while covering up the sentiment with a post-it. I cut the panel down to size and matted it on some Gold cardstock, then adhered it to an A2-sized card base. This card was so therapeutic to make as I haven't water coloured for a while!
