Card 1

I made the Iconic Christmas Background in the exact same way for all three cards but just changed up the colours and did some heat embossing in some cases. Of course each turnabout set comes with an alignment aid (an acetate square with the stamp image) which makes this an easy stamp set to use and is done as follows:

1) Use C9 Jig or create your own by cutting a 6" x 6" cardstock jig and creating a large "X" that crosses directly in the center. Number each corner 1-4.

2) Place the Jig in your MISTI butt up against any corner but just make sure you keep it in this corner as you turn the Jig in the next steps (I use the bottom right corner).

3) Place the stamp on the alignment tool/acetate sheet, lining up the images and place it on top of the jig with the "1" in the top right corner. Then close the MISTI lid to pick up the stamp and remove the alignment tool.

4) Place you cardstock panel on the jig with the middle right on top of the center of the "x" on the Jig - attach it with removable tape.

5) Then ink up the stamp, stamp the image and turn the jig. Don't forget to clean the stamp and ink it up with another colour to stamp. Complete this 4 times to stamp the entire turnabout.

It's a really simple process and allows for mass production of unique looking cards simply by changing up your inks and embossing powders or how many times you turn the stamp. You can make your pattern more sparse by only stamping twice or 3 times.

For this card, I stamped only 3 times using Altenew Hunter Green, Heartbeat inks and Ranger Gold EP. I created an A2-sized card out of this background. I stamped out the sentiment from the turnabout set and heat embossed it in the same EP. I also used some Tonic Studios Ruby Glitz Glitter Card to create the diagonal block on the card. I also added the die cut candy cane and holly and some Buttons Galore and More Christmas Carnival Sprinkles (sorry - I don't think this is available but will link something similar).

Card 2

For this card, I stamped 4 times to create a full background using Pigment Craft Co. inks in Monstera, Terracotta, Quince and Turmeric.  I turned this into a 6.5" x 4" mini slimline card and added a dark green strip in the center dry embossed with the Spellbinders Tufted folder. I stamped out the sentiment from the turnabout set and heat embossed it in Ranger Gold EP. I then backed it on some gold glitter cardstock and added some strips to the top and bottom of the card. This may be the first time I've done this but this card was so pretty as is, so I did not add any other embellishments.

Card 3

For my final card, I stamped 4 times again using Altenew inks in Galactic Stream, Coral Bliss, Mountain Mist and Pastel Sunrise. I turned this into another A2-sized card matting the panel onto Sizzix Opulent Silver Pearl cardstock. I cut a smaller white rectangle and stamped the two sentiments from the turnabout set in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Clear EP. I then took the Altenew Mountain Mist ink and used an ink blending brush to add this colour to the rectangle. The embossing helped preserve the sentiments and stops it from ink-bleeding during this process. I also matted this onto more silver pearl cardstock and attached it to the turnabout panel with foam adhesive, after wrapping some grey and white string around the center, fastening it with tape on the back of the panel. I attached the panel to an A2-sized white card base and added the silver glitter tree in the center with some gems that matched the colour scheme. Finally, I also added some more gems to the background.

When stamping these backgrounds, I always do a full 6" x 6" panel and use the extra cut off pieces to decorate the inside of the card too. This creates a complete inside and out-designed card and ties in the design from the front to the inside. I love doing this and it only adds an extra 3-5 min to the process.

And that is my inspiration for Day 9 of this great event! I hope you were inspired! Thanks again for stopping by and please remember to comment for your chance to win!
