Perfect Floral Bloom and Illustrated Floral & Solid - August Clear Stamp and Die & Glimmer Kit of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

 Hello Friends!

 I have some more inspo today featuring the August Clear Stamp and Die and Glimmer Kit of the Month called Perfect Floral Bloom and Illustrated Floral & Solid. Both sets are available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store now!! I love the cute florals included in the stamp set and the solid plate in the Glimmer kit is a great way to get started with negative foiling!

I'll give a quick run down of each card on here but if you want a more detailed look, I highly recommend checking out the YouTube Video linked above!

Clear Stamp and Die of the Month

For this card, I simply stamped out all of the perfect florals and arranged them around an oval cut using the Spellbinders Fluted Classics Ovals. I stamped these florals by using the dies to cut the white cardstock and then I reset them in the negative die cut pieces with washi tape. And then I lined up my stamps and stamped out the stems, leaves and florals using my MISTI. This method was faster as I could simply take out each image and replace it with a clean cardstock piece.

For the background, I embossed a grey cardstock panel just shy of 5" x 7" with the Intertwined Lattice August Embossing Folder of the Month. I backed this onto a 5" x 7" white card base, which ends up giving a 1/8" border. I foiled the sentiment using the August Glimmer Kit of the Month with Matte Gold foil and added some Spellbinders Peach Opalescent embellishments with some gems.

Glimmer Kit of the Month

I started by foiling the Solid piece from the Glimmer Kit in silver foil 4 times on white cardstock and once in the center of gray cardstock cut to 6.75" x 4.75". I fussy cut the 4 solid foils and cut them in half, removing an extra 1/4' in from the center of the solid to make them thinner. I then adhered these half solid foil pieces to the grey cardstock as seen in the picture. I was going for more of a retro look here. 

I foiled the floral plate 3 times with teal, magenta and lavender petal foil and cut them out with the coordinating die. I cut the lavender piece in half and arranged the florals around the center silver solid foil. I foiled the sentiment with silver foil and cut it with the coordinating die along with a silver glitter piece to create a shadow. Finally, I embellished this card with Spellbinders Teal, Pink and Purple Opalescent Sequins and added some clear gems and Stardust Stickles to the florals.
