Bubble Gum Machine and Scattered Fall - September APG Die & Embossing Folder of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

Hello Friends!

 Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring the September APG Die and Embossing Folder of the Month called Pop Up Vignette Gum Ball Machine and Scattered Fall. Both sets are available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store now!! The embossing folder matches a lot of the club kits perfectly and the gum ball machine is a fun one to make!

APG Die of the Month

This 3D Pop-Up Vignette Gum Ball Die set is so fun to put together. The hardest part is picking out a colour scheme! And I guess slotting the frame and adding the stabilizer bar is a bit finicky, but I recommend checking out my YouTube video where I focus on the assembly of this cute card!

I chose to use some silver, pale pinks, blush and muted gold glitter cardstocks for this one. I also added some floral pieces from the Large Die of the Month. The best part about this card is that once everything is cut, putting it all together is such a joy! It folds flat and fits into a 5" x 7" envelope, however I decided to prop up some of the details and the gumball slot with foam.

Embossing Folder of the Month

To highlight the beautiful Scattered Fall elements in the Embossing Folder of the Month, I ink-blended a teal coloured panle just slightly smaller than 5" x 7". I added Altenew Galactic Stream and Arctic Mountain heavily on the edges and blended it inwards. I applied the embossing folder and added some gold pigment ink to the edges. I used my paintbrush to add some splatter in black, white and gold metallic paint and some white acrylic paint.

Once the panel was dry, I fastened some silver string around the bottom and adhered it to the back of the panel with tape. I adhered the panel to a 5" x 7" white card base and added some die cuts that I cut using the Large Die of the Month. I added the pumpkin and squash along with the husks of the corn (without the actual corn) behind the "happy fall" sentiment. I finished this card off with some clear gold gems and that's how easy it is to highlight this great embossing folder!
