Hello Friends and Crafters!
Today I'm sharing 3 cards featuring Jane Gill's Floral Collection available at Creative Expressions. This collection is so beautiful, it's for sure going to sell out fast! (Good news if you're in the Americas as this should be available in October, so this is basically like a sneak peek!) I used a colour block background, ink blending and some water colours for these cards, which use JGS825 & JGS829.
For this first card, I did some ink blending using an oval mask to keep the centre of the card white. I used Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Scattered Straw. I then heat embossed the floral image with gold embossing powder and did some water colour painting with some Daniel Smith paints. I stamped out the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and added some black, white and blue splatter.
I made this card in ortrait orientation using the same masking and ink blending method as the first card but I used oxide inks in Seedless Preserves, Shaded Lilac and Tattered Rose. This time I simply stamped the image in VersaFine Onyx Black and added the sentiment backed on gold mirror cardstock. I used a Micron Black pen to add extra dots around the images to interest.

For my final card, I added strips of dark blue, royal blue, pale pink and yellow cardstocks. I adhered these onto an A7 sized card and stamped out and heat embossed the floral images with clear white embossing powder. I had to mask specific areas to stamp out each image one-by-one as this is a "build your bouquet" stamp set. So you can make your own arrangement of flowers. I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder on white cardstock and cut it into a tag and backed it onto gold mirror cardstock. I punched a hole in the top and strung it through some gold twine which I tied around the card panel before I adhered it to the card base. I added a couple clear gems and this card was complete.
Overall, this collection is stunning and fun to work with. I hope you've been inspired to make something similar yourself. All of the products have been linked below for your shopping pleasure!
