Scrap N' Stamp September Colours of Fall Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Scrap N' Stamp September Colours of Fall Inspiration Hop! Today I've got an autumn-themed scrapbook layout and 3 cards to share with you. I used the Photo Play Autumn Greetings Collection Paper Pack to create the projects and hope you like them and get inspired!

Scrapbook Layout

To start, I chose two bright 12" x 12" paper with a plaid or cross pattern. The idea is that I want to use papers that create an arrow or half of a diamond. I used my ruler and tore the paper along the lines to create the arrow/triangle cut out from the right side of the paper on both pieces. I did the same to the brown wordy 12'' x 12" paper and worked the tears to make it look just a bit distressed and to add dimension. I chose the brown on the brighter colours so that the bright papers would stand out. I adhered the papers together to make one complete 12" x 12" layout. 

I cut down my chosen picture (of my 3 daughters) and matted it onto the blue polka dot paper from the pack. I adhered this at the point of the arrow. I added the "AUTUMN" sentiment sticker and the Happy Fall card ( cut from the 12" x 12" paper - there are 2 papers in the pack like this), along with the I love fall most of all tag sticker. I added foam strips to the 3 coloured sub-sentiments to the bottom left of the layout. And then I simply added more stickers around the layout where I saw fit, adding foam to some pieces to create interest and varying dimensions. I also strategically added some fruit and leafy stickers in the joins of the arrow where the papers meet.

To finish this layout off, I added some Pinkfresh Studio Gold Pearls and some clear strip gems from the dollar store.

Card 1

For this card, I used the I love autumn panel cut from one of the collection papers. I matted it onto the blue polka dot paper and again onto some Tonic Studios Welsh Gold Glitter cardstock. I added some black strip gems around the center panel and 2 of the sub sentiment stickers.

Card 2

I added two of the papers from the pack in a diagonal fashion on an A2-sized card base and cut off the overhanging bits. I added a strip of the Welsh Gold Glitter cardstock on the join. Then I adhered the "Hello Fall" Sentiment strip along with the pumpkin, apple and pear stickers. I finished this card off with some Pinkfresh Studio Glacier Jewels.

Card 3

For my final card, I added a panel of the brown wordy paper to the welsh gold glitter cardstock and adhered it to a landscape A2 card with the orange harvest paper on it. I added the warm and fuzzy tag sticker with foam and the 3 sub sentiments. I adhered the "traditions" tab to the left of the tag and the sweater sticker to the bottom right. I wrapped some orange and white string around the left side of the panel before adhering the panel to my card base by fastening the string with tape at the back. I embellished this card with clear gems and clear gems strips.

As you can see this paper pack is full of fall goodness for all types of projects from cards to scrapbooking!
