Thankful For You & Fall Gnomes - September Clear Stamp and Die & Glimmer Kit of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

 Hello Friends!

 It's September 1st and you know what that means...New Spellbinders Club Kits! And I have to admit I've fallen for the Glimmer Kit of the Month called Thankful For You! Today I'm sharing some inspo featuring this and the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month entitled Fall Gnomes. Both sets are available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store now!!

Glimmer Kit of the Month

This card is an A2-sized card with a belly band. You can see, I foiled the frame (2 pieces you put together to form the diamond) and added some Altenew inks. I assembled the diamond frame with the foiled sentiment in the center and attached it to the matte gold belly band. The card base was white cardstock that I added Altenew Plum ink to and embossed with the Embossing Folder of the Month. And on the inside, I added a sentiment from the Fall Gnomes stamp set and a leafy border at the bottom that I made from and extra cut up frame piece. Clear Stamp and Die of the Month

This stamp set is super cute and the little punny sentiments make it ideal for creating fun scenes. For my card, I stamped out the images (the small gnome 3 times) with Memento Black ink, which is Copic-safe. I coloured in the images with a range of Copic Ciao markers using simple blending techniques. I added some highlights with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen and cut the images out with the coordinating dies. 

For the background, I cut a 4.75" x 6.75" dark green cardstock panel that I embossed with the Embossing Folder of the Month. I adhered this to a white 5" x 7" card base and added a white oval cut with the Spellbinders Essential Ovals set. I propped this up with some foam and adhered the images to fit the sentiment. The sentiment was heat embossed with Ranger Princess Gold EP on light pink cardstock and I also added some gold pearl and clear gem embellishments. As you can see, the larger gnome has collected his gnome friends or "gnomies" in his wheel barrow and this matches the sentiment "Thankful for my gnomies!" Oh I love the pun in this card!
