Poinsettia Spray - October Glimmer Kit of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

 Hello Friends!

 Let's continue the festive fun with a card I made featuring the Glimmer Kit of the Month called Poinsettia Spray! This set is available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store now. The main attraction in this set is a large glimmer plate with a beautiful poinsettia spray floral, which I know you'll love if you're a florals girl like myself!

This card is a larger 5" x 7" card and that's mainly so I could capture all of the goodness in that large poinsettia spray glimmer plate! I used the plate to foil a focal point piece using Aura Foil and I also foiled the image twice on a white 4.75" x 6.75" cardstock panel in Matte Gold foil. I coloured in the focal piece with Copic Ciaos in greens, reds and pinks. I tried to keep the colouring lighter for a softer effect. I then adhered the focal piece to the background along with a red and pink layered cardstock strip. The sentiment was foiled in red foil from the Small Die of the Month set and propped up with some foam. For a more detailed look at the process, kindly click the Youtube link above!
