Card 1

I've had the Pinkfresh Studio Seamless Starburst Circles stamp hanging around my craftroom for a while and thought it would work perfectly to make some larger halloween candies! So I took a white A2 sized cardstock panel and stamped out the background stamp with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink. I then used the 3 circle stamps to fill in the circles with different shades of orange, purple and grey inks. I used Altenew inks from the Enchanted Garden, Warm & Cozy and Rock Collection sets.

Then I grabbed my Sakura Pigma Micron pens in black and added the wrapper ends of the candy on each starburst, along with some action lines for interest. Once my background distictly looked like candies, I used a rectangle die from the Spellbinders Essential Rectangles die set to cut a rectangle from the center of the panel. I added acetate to the frame and used some foam tape with the Paper Rose Trick or Treat Shaker Mix to turn this card into a shaker card. I made sure to add the center rectangle that was cut to the A2 white card based so the candy background was continuous throughout the shaker.

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed "Happy Halloween" from the LawnFawn Booyah stamp set (an oldie but a goodie) with white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut the sentiments into strips and attached them to the shaker card with foam squares. I finished this card off with some Pinkfresh Studio Glacier gems.

Card 2

For my second card, I used the same idea but this time I stamped pigment ink onto black cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the background starburst stamp with Ranger Silver embossing powder. And I used the circle stamps to stamp the "candy" with Color Box Petal Pigment ink in white, orange and yellow. I was going for a candy corn look here. Once the panel was dry, I used a Sakura white Gelly Roll pen (size 10) to add the candy wrapper ends like in the first card.

I used a circle die from the Spellbinders Standard Circles die set to cut a circle from the top right corner of this panel. I then traced the circle onto the coordinating A2-sized white card base. I added acetate to the candy panel and stamped out "Booyah" from the LawnFawn Booyah Stamp set in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink in the center of the traced circle. Once dry, I added foam tape to the back of the candy panel and created another shaker card using the same Trick or Treat mix. The only difference is that I took out the purple shaker bits since it wouldn't match the white, orange and yellow background. I finished this card with some copper gems!

And that is my inspiration for the So Sweet Inspiration Hop! I hope you were inspired to use your everyday sgtamps in different ways like I did here! Thanks again for stopping by and please remember to comment on IG for your chance to win (link above)!

 Have a Great Day!
