Beautiful Feminine Cards With The Floral Arches Set | The Greetery

 Hello Friends!

Today I'm using the Floral Arches stencils, dies and stamps from The Greetery with two colour schemes to create two gorgeous floral feminine Birthday cards. These products work so perfectly together and the results are simply stunning. You can use the stencils and stamps alone, use them with the dies and even have select flowers from the image die cut and propped up to give a 3D effect.

Card 1

For this card, I used greens, peaches and mustard yellow inks from Pigment Craft Co. to stamp out and stencil in the floral arch. I used a mix of I used black ink for the veins and stems of the flowers and cut out the floral arch with the coordinating die.

I used the A2 Arches Die set to cut out an arch in the same colour cardstock as the background panel, which I embossed with the Spellbinders Leafy 3D embossing folder. I stamped out the "A handmade card..." sentiment arch in Verasfine Clair Nocturne ink on the die cut arch.

I stamped out the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the same stamp set and cut it out using the coordinating die set, Arched Sentiments Die.

I then assembled all the pieces, adding foam in between each layer for dimension. I also stamped out a couple extra flowers and cut them using the coordinating dies from the Floral Arches Die Set. I added these to the floral arch with small foam squares.

I finished off the front of the card with some Diamond Stickles for added shine and some Pinkfresh Studio Iridescent Drops.

For the inside of this A2-sized card, I added a few strips of cardstock in the same ink colours as on the front and a gold glitter strip. I added some extra flowers and leaves stamped and cut using the floral arches stamp and die set. I also stamped out a sentiment from the Honeybee Stamps Inside: Birthday stamp set.

 Card 2

I made my second card in pretty much the same way. This time I used some Altenew inks in emeralds, purples and greys. I started with the 6 stencils that you get with the Floral Arches Stamps + Stencils set. There's also a handy guide included with the set that is to scale and tells you how to stamp out each stamp. The stamps are alphanumerically labelled A1 through A7, along with the upper and lower stems.

Also, I really love that the guide image is to scale because you can actually lay your stencils over top to see which portions of the image are inked up. This really comes in handy for me because I am such a visual person/learner.

I used a different arch stamp sentiment for this card and assembled with foam in between the layers, as I did before. I finished off the frontn with Diamond Stickles and Pinkfresh Studio Silver Metallic Pearls.

The inside was decorated in the manner but in this colour scheme. And a different sentiment from the Honeybee Stamps Inside: Birthday stamp set was used here.

And there you have it! I hope you've been inspired to make something similar yourself. These arches sets are amazing and I can see myself creatng a ton of cards with them!
