Layered Floral Card Creator & Stylized Floral Kaleidoscope Slimline - November Small and Large Die of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

 Hello Friends!

My post today features the Spellbinders Small and Large Die of the Month for November. These sets are gorgeous and I have to say that Spellbinders knocked it out of the park with this month's kits! The sets are called Layered Floral Card Creator and Stylized Floral Kaleidoscope Slimline. And the Small Die coordinates perfectly with the Glimmer Kit! Both sets are available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store now!!

I'll give a quick run down of each card on here but if you want a more detailed look, I highly recommend checking out the YouTube Video linked above!

Small Die of the Month

For this 5"x 7" card, I actually used the outline ornament die from the Stitched Ornament set released a while ago in the Stitchmas Christmas Collection. I used it to cut an opening in my blue card panel and I used the layered floral from the small die set to come through the ornament. I thought this would make a unique Christmas card. I used the sentiment plates from Yana's Christmas Sentiments Glimmer set to foil the sentiments in Matte Gold foil. I also used Yana's partial embossing method to emboss the blue panel with the November Embossing Folder of the Month. I slightly cut up the floral piece to get it to fit through the opening and then I added the Ornament topper. I finished this card off with a lot of clear droplets on the background and matte gold pearls on the floral piece. Large Die of the Month

The large die for this month is a kaleidoscope slimline. I find these cards only need a colour scheme and the rest comes together by itself very easily with little thinking, since these dies are so creative in themselves. I cut the ouitline and frame from some Spellbinders gold metllic cardstock (from the card kit). I adhered it to a dark blue cardstock panel cut slightly smaller than 3.5" x 8.5", using foam strips. 

I cut the 3 center kaleidoscope dies from light pink, dark pink and gold glitter cardstock. I adhered them together with Bearly Arts Glue. Then, I adhered all 3 kaleidoscope pieces to the gold frame with foam squares. I cut and assembled the leaves from the 2 leaf dies that come with the set. I also used the bell flower from the small die of the month to cut 3 flowers from white and gold cardstock.

I cut the Happy Birthday sentiment die from white cardstock and adhered it in the center of the card. I added the leaf and bell flower die cuts around the sentiment and finished this cardd off with some clear iridescent gems.

The final size of the slimline card is 3.5" x 8.5".
