Hello Friends and Welcome Back!
One of my favourite things to do when crafting is to mix and match products of all brands. I just love how different products of varying styles can work together so perfectly! So my cards today feature a beautiful foiled background from Honey Bee Stamps using the Pinkfresh Studio solid plate, foil from Spellbinders, a sentiment from Concord & 9th and a gorgeous die cut bow from Simon Says Stamp!
I'll also be entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge entitled "Add Some Sparkle" and the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge entitled "Holiday Cheer".

Card 1
To start, I used the Fanciful A2 foil plate from Honey Bee Stamps with Spellbinders Opaque White Foil on red cardstock. I then took the negative foil and foiled the rest of the pattern onto Sizzix opulent Gold Matte cardstock using the Pinkfresh Studio Solid Plate. (I kept this aside for the second card.)
I cut the panel down to 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered it to a white card base. I cut out the "falala" main sentiment and shadow using the Festive Phrases Bundle from Concord & 9th. I also heat embossed the merry CHRISTMAS from the C9 Boughs & Holly stamp set with white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut this into a strip and also cut the bow dies from the
SSS Giant Gift Bow out of matte gold and black glitter cardstock.
I assembled the bow with foam squares and arranged the bow and sentiments onto the card front. Finally, I embellished it with black gems.

Card 2
For my second card, I took the gold and white panel I set aside earlier and wrapped shiny red twine arround it like you would a present. I then adhered it to an A2-sized black cardstock panel and to a white card base.
For the sentiment, I stamped out the Happy Holidays from the C9 Festive Phrases in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. I attached it to the card with foam adhesive along with another bow made from black glitter and red mirror cardstock.
I embellished this card with red glitter gems from last years Spellbinders Limited Edition Christmas Card kit.
And that's really all it took. I hope you've been inspired to make something similar yourself. As always, all of the products used here have been listed below for your shopping convenience!!
