Anniversary Shaker Hearts Card | Kat Scrappiness
Hello Friends !
I'm sharing this very red Anniversary Heart Shaker card featuring products from the Be My Valentine Release at Kat Scrappiness. I added a lot of layers of ink and splatters with Distress Ink Sprays, Mica Sprays and paint to create this vibrant background. It really makes a great backdrop for the Intertwined Hearts Die, which is perfect for shaker cards. I used a couple older sets to coordinate with this design, however the second part of the Valentines Release just hit the Kat Scrappiness store, so don't forget to check that out too!

Card Process Outline
1) Cut a,watercolour cardstock panel to just under 5" x 7"
2) Add Distress Ink Sprays in Fired Brick and Candied Apple. Add Mica Sprays in Tarnished Brass, Antique Bronze and Brushed Pewter by spraying and splattering drops using the spray tube. And add white acrylic paint splatters. Set this aside to dry.
3) Use the KS A2 Intertwined Hearts Die to cut 1 piece from red glitter cardstock and 10 from plain red cardstock. Adhere all of the plain cardstock layers together.
4) Add acetate to the back of the glitter hearts diecut and cut around the edge to create the enclosure for the shaker.
5) Once the inked panel is dry, adhere it to a 5" x 7" white card base.
6) Attach the stack of 10 plain hearts to the center of the card and allow to fully dry (add weight if needed).
7) Use a scoop to add the KS Pearl Glass Dots and KS Gold Mine Rhinestones to the compartment of the hearts die.
8) Adhere the glitter diecut with acetate on top of the shaker and once completely dry, test shaker to make sure nothing comes out.
9) Use the KS Layered Tulip Bouquet Die Set to cut the bouquet stems from gold mirror and gold glitter cardstock, and the tulips from white shimmer vellum.
10) Assemble the bouquet with liquid glue.
11) Cut the bouquet in half and attach it to the card stocking out from the hearts with Micro Foam Squares.
12) Use the KS Happy Day stamp set to heat emboss the Happy Anniversary sentiment with white embossing powder on black cardstock.
13) Cut the sentiment into banners and attach them to the card in the top left and bottom right corners with foam adhesive.
14) Embellish the background of the card with some KS Clear AB Glass Bubbles.
