To start, I die cut all of the pieces for the bottle and 3 wine glasses from the Pop The Bubbly Die Set. I used a mix of white, pink and gold glitter & mirror cardstocks. The fun thing about the label for this bottle is that you can stamp or write whatever you want on it. I can imagine placing a number on it for birthdays or anniversaries too. I did cut the label a second time from gold mirror cardstock to create a border on the top and bottom of the label. I then assembled the 4 items with a mix of liquid glue and foam squares.
For my background I cut a 5" x 7" panel from textured pink cardstock. I arranged and adhered the bottle and glasses. I used the stars from the A2 Reverse Scallop Die Set to cut the images from gold AB shiny cardstock and gold glitter cardstock to create confetti. I did the same using a small circle punch in two sizes. I adhered the star and circle confetti to the panel with liquid glue.
Then to make the background more "party-esque", I drew on some squiggles, asterisks and dots with an Opaque White Gelly Roll Pen. I also used a black Pigma Micron Pen to draw on some small triangle and dot confetti images. All of this together created a really nice confetti, party scene.
For the sentiment, I used the KS Happy Day Stamp set and heat embossed "Happy New Year!" in white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut this into a banner and attached it to the top right of the card with foam tape.
Finally, I used the Goldmine Rhinestone Mix, Pearl Glass Dots and Clear AB Glass Bubble Mix on the banner, background and as the bubbles from the champagne! I cut the panel down slightly and adhered it to a 5" x 7" white card base, and my card was complete!
And that's my Kat Scrappiness card inspiration for today! As always, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! Please don't forget to follow me on Instagram @deezinesbyd where I've also post my reel for this card!
