Hello Friends!
Scrappy Tails Crafts is having an Instagram Hop today with tons of inspiration showcasing the NEW J'adore Collection! I used the A7 Pop Up Purse Die and Add-On sets, with a few modifications, to create this tufted evening purse. You'll notice this purse has one long shoulder strap instead of two small handles. I used silver twine for the strap with a few jump rings from my jewelry crafting days, and I just wanted to show how these sets can be used to make any style of purse you want! So head on over to Instagram (click here -> @deezinesbyd) and hop along! There are two $25 gift cards up for grabs - read the instructions on the post for details to enter. Good luck and happy hopping!

Here are a couple more pictures, along with the supplies listed at the bottom. If you're looking for a process video for this modified purse, I will have a video tutorial that I will post to my YouTube channel in the coming months. Please feel free to subscribe through the Video Short link above and hit the notification bell to be notified when the video goes up.
Here's a view of the purse standing up. The front flap is fastened by small magnets and can open up. You could place a small card in here, as I have, or you can place a gift card or small treats inside if this is to be hand-delivered.
Here's what the back of the purse looks like. Keep in mind that you can fold this flat and place it into an A7-sized envelope. I also attached a small metallic feather adornment with some silver bugle beads to hang from the shoulder strap as decoration.
For the long sholder strap, I braided 3 lengths of silver twine, tied it off and added two jewelry jump rings to connect it to the hoops on the side of the purse. And to get the tufted look of leather/pleather tufted purses, I used the Spellbinders Tufted embossing folder.
This is the small card, measuring 2.75" x 3", that I made using one of the pretty patterned papers from the paper pad. I also stamped a simple sentiment on the inside. This fits inside the purse perfectly.
And to finish off this cool pop up purse, I added some shiny silver embellishments from the wide selection of new embellishments availabe in the Scrappy Tails shop!
I hope you liked my project today and as always, thanks for stopping by!
(note: if I can't find the same product used, I will always link something similar)
