Hello Friends!
Cathe Holden's Flea Market Finds Collection debuted last year and it was amazing, especially if you like the vintage look. This year she has released another beautiful Flea Market Finds Collection over at Spellbinders. My inspiration today, highlights the fact that all her collections work together seamlessly!! This collection introduces cute mini envelopes and these are perfect for all of those fun miscellany die cuts. I found that a lot of the stamps from past releases fit perfectly into the dies such as the faux wax seal die and the little heart and star included in the Mini Envelopes 2 set. The sentiments from past stamp sets fit into the open labels from the die cuts and sticker pad. So if you have older sets, adding to what you have with these would coordinate so well! And if you don't, you can always shop for both the new and old sets together. I absolutely love this feature!

Mini Envelopes + Tag + Mini Book
Two of the die sets released with this collection make these cute mini envelopes. This photo shows how all 4 variations of the envelope look. They are perfect for cute little tags, tokens, little notes and would make perfect additions to your craft room if you like using mini envelopes in journalling or mini albums! I cut the envelopes from the beautiful papers included in the Floral 2 Palette 6" x 9" Paper Pad. The images on these papers are stunning and would work for a simple card as a stand-alone background (which I do have some inspo for if you scroll down).
Another thing I mentioned in the beginning but want to reiterate is that I used last year's Cathe Holden stamp sets to add features and sentiments to these die cuts, and they all fit and coodinate perfectly!
This is an oversized tag I made using the papers from the Floral 2 Paper pad. I added the border sticker at the bottom from the Stationer's Boutique Sticker Pad. And I simply layered the die cuts from both of the miscellany die cut packs to put this one together. I punched a hole in the top and added a white ribbon with a few gold pearls to finish off this tag.
In the Coat Check Miscellany pack there is a book cover die cut. I thought, how perfect and I scored and folded this and added pages with a stapler. I added some of the die cuts from the Metal Miscellany die cut pack for the hinges and the bird emblem to complete this cute book!
Card 1
My first card is 5" x 7"; a little larger to fit the 3 envelopes. I cut out the 3 envelopes from the Mini Envelopes 2 die set and cut some coloured cardstock as well to place on the inside of the envelopes, since the back of the pattern paper is white. I adhered the envelopes open to the card with foam adhesive. And then I added some of the Miscellany die cuts inside the envelopes, along with some Spellbinders Peach Opalescent Sequins on the background.
Card 2
Again, this card was made with the pattern paper as a base and rope sticker strips added to the bottom. I added some ribbon to a tag from the Miscellany die cuts and layered some more around the largest image. I find this layered look works best with this style of products. I finished this one off with
Spellbinders Pink Opalescent Sequins.
Card 3
My third card has a nice mish mash of all the products. In the sticker pack there are nice large floral images which are beautiful. I will mention that you need to be careful pulling these off as they can rip, as mine did but I just covered it up with some die cuts😉. I used it on this card with a bunch of Miscellany die cuts and some gold gems.
Card 4
Now this card is what I was talking about earlier! The background is just one of the papers from the Floral 2 Palette 6" x 9" Paper Pad!! It's so pretty that it stands out all on its own. I added one of the elegant sentiments from the Wonderful Script Sentiments Die set and the foiled words were cut from the Making Me Smile Glimmer Set. So as you can see, you can get a quick and easy card with a modern look with these products too!
Card 5
This is another quick and simple, modern looking card made with these products. I think it's important to note that this look can be acheived, especially if you're not really into the vintage look for your crafting!
I used this gorgeous red background paper from the same pad. I added one of those large floral images from the sticker pack. And finished it off with a simple black foiled sentiment from the Make Me Smile Glimmer Set. I added a few clear gems and this card is complete!
And that is my card inspiration for the Flea Market Finds Collection by Cathe Holden! You can make some cute envelopes for mini albums, cards and tags. You can mix and match different collections. And you can get both vintage and modern looks! This collection is so versatile and a must have!
