The Big Arrowhead Stencil with Gel Printing | A Colorful Life Designs

 Hello Friends and Welcome!

 A Colorful Life Designs released a bunch of fun Coffee and Tea Lovers Stencils for April and I love that with each release there are stencils that are generic. Today I've used the Big Arrowhead Stencil with some gel printing to create a feminine greeting card. I hope you like this card, especially since it's my first time using this technique! Here's another photo of this card. Now you can see that my gel print has air bubbles and most people avoid this, however I feel like it gives a cool and unique look. So to do my printing, I added some Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers Oxide ink on the left and right side of the gel plate. Then I used my brayer to even out the ink and blend it in the center. I put the Big Arrowhead Stencil on top and then my cardstock. Then applied pressure with my hand to get the ink to transfer. I pulled off my cardstock and saw the air bubbles and I've been trying to replicate this ever since.

The sentiment was stamped and cut using the Arched Sentiments stamp set by The Greetery. And the floral die cut was stamped and cut using the Honeysuckle Stems stamp and die set by The Greetery also. I cut down the gel print panel and adhered it to a 5" x 7" white card base. I added the sentiment and honeysuckle stem and some confetti sequins.
