Marvelous Masks Bathing Suit & Fierce Waves Stencils | A Colorful Life designs

 Hello Friends and Welcome!

My card uses the Marvelous Masks Bathing Suit & Fierce Waves stencils just released by A Colorful Life Designs! (Use code DeepaFan10 for a discount!)  I used a gorgeous peony stamp from The Ton and stamped it out using the largest mask. Then I stenciled in the background with the Fierce Waves stencil. By strategically ink blending in the right areas, you can make this bathing suit come to life! The sentiment stamp works perfectly with this swimsuit and was also part of this release. I took the largest mask and placed it on a 5" x 7" panel of light blue/aqua cardstock. I then used my MISTI to stamp out all the layers from the Peony Notes Stamp Set by The Ton. I used some Azurite Altenew ink to ink blend around the edges of the bathing suit stencil to give it depth and dimension. Then I removed the stencil and affixed the negative portion of the stencil (the center of the bathing suit). All of the mask stencils from A Colorful Life Designs have the positive and negative cuts so you can use them in unique ways like this. I affixed the Fierce Waves stencil on top and ink blended some Emerald Altenew ink keeing it darker on the edges. I removed the stencils and ink blended over top of the edges to soften them up. I stamped out the sentiment and added a white shadow with a white Gelly Roll Pen. Then I added some clear gems for shine!
