My first card using the Altenew Stampwheel!

 Hello Friends and Crafters!

I finally got my hands on the NEW Stampwheel by Altenew and I'm loving it! I used it to stamp out these gorgeous flowers and I used it to hold my stencils in place while ink blending. I love how the sticky mat really holds the card in place without the use of magnets and I love that I don't have to have as much space on my desk to allow for a swinging lid open to ink up my stamps. This really comes in handy of you're a reels-maker/youtuber like myself. I can already tell that this is going to become one of my favourite crafting tools!

Here's another photo of this card along with supplies listed at the end of this post.

This card was made using the Gracious Peonies Stamp set, die and stencils. I purchased this set as a bundle and I love that Altenew has this option on their site. For those of you shopping from Canada, I also have links below where these products are available at Scrap 'N Stamp Canada (so you can skip those pesky duties and brokerage fees!😉)

I stamped and ink blended the the florals using the Altenew Stampwheel. I love that the photopolymer sticky mat holds onto the stencils without having to pick up my card panel and move it around. I also admire the fact that I don't need to use magnets either!

I blended in some pinks (Spring Bouquet family of inks) and yellows (Mango and Pocketful of Sunshine family of inks) to get this two toned flower. And I did the same thing with Dusk and Lagoon Altenew inks. I created a sentiment strip for the left edge of this card and stamped the sentiment on the florals. To get the black ink to pop, I added a shadow with a white gelly roll pen.

For the background of this card, I embossed a purple background with an olde Spellbinders Club kit folder.

Then, to finish this card off, I added some shimmer with a Nuvo Shimmer Marker and I added some white embellishments. And those white drops are not enamel dots but wax beads I made when doing some wax seal-making using my Spellbinders wax seal kit.

As always, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! Please don't forget to visit my profile on Instagram @deezinesbyd for more inspo.
