Hello Friends!
The De-Light-Ful Christmas Collection by Yana was just released today at Spellbinders. And I have to admit I went a bit crazy with cards because the products are simply amazing! The Poinsettia Bloom Dies are in line with the rest of Yana's bloom dies and is stunning on it's own. Mixed with the rest of the glimmer plates and the embossing folder, I'm sure this collection is going to sell out fast! I have 7 cards I'm sharing today and hope something inspires you!

I did A LOT of foiling and used a lot of specialty cardstock in these cards which are hard to capture on still-camera. So I highly reccommend clicking on my YouTube Video Short above to get a better idea of just how gorgeous and shiny these cards are in real life.
Card 1
This is my favourite card from the bunch and I simply used the Poinsettia Bloom dies to create a frame around the foiled sentiment. I used Matte White foil on some plum cardstock for great contrast and so that the sentiment from the A Merry Little Christmas Sentiments set would match with the flowers. I added some shading to the poinsettias with grey copics and finally some clear gems. It's very simple and gives gorgeous results with ony two full blooms, which I cut and re-used around the frame.
Card 2

I used the Poinsettia Bloom, assembled in the same fashion as the last card, as a focal point on this card. I foiled the Holly Background glimmer plate with Gold foil for the background. And I added the sentiment from the A Merry Little Christmas set in Green foil.
Card 3
The background of this card was made by adding a strip of plum cardstock to a white A2 sized card panel. I just used plain old tape runner and then embossed the entire panel with the Holly & Foliage 3D Embossing Folder. I added some whit pigment ink lightly to the plum cardstock to enhance the embossing and add a frosted effect. Then I added the outline of the Poinsettia Bloom set in white cardstock with the sentiment foiled in gold. I added some gold glitter drops to finish this one off.
Card 4
Here I used the Glimmer Holly background plate along with the coordinating layering stencils. I used the Eucalyptus and Fir inks by Pigment Craft Co because of their muted looks. And then I used Rose Quartz and Purple Wine Altenew inks for the smaller fronds and berries. I like this combination of colour and I can see myself making masses of cards in different colour schemes for Christmas with this bundle. The Holly Background was foiled with Starburst foil and really creates extra glimmer with larger detail plates like this. Then, I added dark green, pink and light pink strips of cardstock to break up the background and highlight the sentiment, which was foiled with magenta foil. This is definitely another one of my faves,
Card 5
I tried to use a mix of gold and silver foil with the Joyful Glimmer plates on this card. Then to add some texture, I embossed the panel with the Holly & Foliage embossing folder. I foiled the sentiment with black foil and cut it with a sentiment banner from the Mini Everyday Sentiments set. Then I added some Leaf Glitter Drops by Pinkfresh Studio. I added a second picture at an angle below so you could see more of the foiling.

Card 6
This card uses the De-Light-Ful Christmas Glimmer plate with Speckled Prism foil. I find that the foil with patterns or speckles always give results with added glimmer and work so well with detail/thin lined plates like this. This set comes with one larger plate and smaller plates for the bases of the lights and dies for the lightbulbs. I just used some prism cardstock to cut the bases and glitter cardstocks in gold, ivory and red for the lightbulbs. But before adding the small die cut bulbs and bases, I foiled the sentiment in gold foil on top of the lights. All of this foiling stands out nicely on this black cardstock.
Card 7
My final card is made in the same way as the last card, with extra trimming to add the black pearl and silver matte left and right edges. I used matte silver foil for the lights on this card and gold pearl cardstock for the light bases. It's hard to see it in this photo but the light bulbs are actually mirror cardstocks in light green, pink and purple.
