July Clear Stamp & Die of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

 Hello Friends!

I used this month's Clear Stamp and Die from Spellbinders to create two cards. The set is called Pine Cones & Holly and I paired it with the String Lights Background Glimmer Plate. This holiday frame stamp is so detailed that it works with or without added colour, which is what I tried to show you with these cards. Both versions of this kit (clear stamp of the month and clear stamp & die of the month) are available to purchase on subscription in the Spellbinders' store on July 6th!!

My first card uses the Spellbinders String Lights Background plate foiled with White Foil on black cardstock. I love the look of this and it creates such a striking background. 

I stamped out the frame on white carstock and used the border die to cut it out. I used my Copics to add some colour and added the red center sentiment piece. Along with a few white and red pearls this card has a nice classic look.

On my second card, I just heat embossed the frame stamp with white detail embossing powder without adding any colour. I cut it out using the coordinating frame and center panel die. Again, I used the String Lights Background plate foiled with Brass Foil on red cardstock. 

Then I stamped out the sentiment in red ink on white cardstock and recessed it behind the frame, by attaching the frame with foam adhesive to the sentiment panel. I attached the entire thing to the red foiled panel and felt it needed a bow, so I added a green velvet one. (Here's a little secret for you - I actually added the bow to cover up some missing embossing on my frame 😉)

And that's my inspiration for the July 2023 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month!
