Layered Christmas Stencils Collection | Spellbinders

  Hello Friends!

The Layered Christmas Stencils Collection is available in the Spellbinders store now. There are 6 stencils in each set and there are also coordinating embossing folders for the sentiments. I love layering stencils like these because all you really have to do to create gorgeous cards is to choose a pretty colour scheme. Then you just have to pick which stencil you want to add each ink colour to and the results are stunning! These stencils are perfect for mass production and making sets of cards as gifts for Christmas. And the best part is that you can opt to omit the sentiment stencils and use the first 4 stencils to make everyday cards as well.

Card 1

This first card uses a green and peach colour scheme. I used Pigment Craft Co inks due to their muted tones in Eucalyptus, Fir, Sage, Blush and Glow. I also chose to fill in the smaller sprinkle stencils with silver pigment ink. The sentiment was inked up with gold pigment ink and then I cut it using the coordinating die. I cut down the panel and matted it on some Tonic Studios Welsh Gold glitter cardstock. Finally I propped up the sentiment with foam adhesive and added some gold glitter drops on the panel.

Card 2

This design is a little different than the other two with the floral and foliage tree. I stuck to a blue and red colour scheme using Starlight, Desert Night, Heartbeat and Vineyard Altenew inks. For the sprinkled stencil with the star, I used silver pigment ink. I assembled the card just like the last with red glitter cardstock this time and added some clear iridescent drops.

Card 3

My final card used a fuschia and green colour scheme. I used a mix of Pigment Craft Co ink in Balsam, Juniper, Aloe and Altenew inks in Pinkalicious and Purple Wine. The sprinkled stencil was filled in with gold pigment ink. And I used matchin colours for the sentiment. I assembled this card in the same way using pink glitter cardstock and added some pink glitter drops.

I chose to keep it simple and stock to two main colours for each card but since there are 6 stencils you could potentially add 6 colours or more.

And that is my card inspiration for the Layered Christmas Stencils Collection !
