Here are some photos of the card I made for the video hop. Be sure to click the link above to watch the full tutorial. Or you can scroll down for more inspo with this release!

Card 1

This card uses the Dainty Flowers and Sincere Sentiments sets. I thought the flowers would look sweet just popping out of the sentiment. And I also used it to stamp a watermark background for this card.

Card 2

This card uses the Dainty Flowers set as a focal point, which really stands out on the dark green background diecut using the Dotted Waves cover die. I used my Altenew waterbrush and some Altenew Crisp Dye Inks to add colour to the florals. And the sentiment was cut and layered using the Versatile Greetings 2 dies. This set has shadow dies which make it really easy to acheive this effect with your sentiments.

Card 3

This card features the Dreamy Daylilies Bundle. There are coordinating stencils to add colour to these lilies, however, I just couldn't resist colouring these flowers in with alcohol markers. I used the Red Cosmos Family of Crisp Dye Mini Ink pads to create a quicked ink-swiped background and really love how this one turned out.

Card 4

For this card, I used the coordinating stencils for the Dreamy Daylilies with the new Cloudy White pigment ink. I added the ink to lighten that dark blue cardstock, which allowed the coloured dye ink I subsequently added to show up. This is a great technique anytime you want to add dye inks to dark cardstock. It also creates a soft and beautiful effect. I added the Versatile Greetings 2 set to this card, but this time I used the hot foil plate set which also coordinates with the dies. I love how the plates and dies coordinate to create many different looks for your sentiments.

Card 5

And for my final card for this post, I used the Four Scoops Family of Crisp Dye Inks to stamp out a bouquet using the Sketched Florals set. I love stamp sets like this because there really isn't a right or wrong way to stamp these out. This really just allows me to focus on the composition of my card. The sentiment for this card comes from the same stamp set, which also is a plus in my books because this set can be used on its own to make tons of cards.

And that's my bit of inspiration for the Altenew July 2023 Release! I hope you were inspired and there's a list of supplies/bundles at the end of this post for your shopping pleasure! As mentioned, I'm ecstatic to be guest designing for Altenew and hope to see you back for more fun with the Marvelous Monthly Series products for July!

As always, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! Please don't forget to visit my profile on Instagram @deezinesbyd for more inspo.
