August Clear Stamp & Die of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

  Hello Friends!

I used this month's Clear Stamp and Die from Spellbinders to create this simple ink spray and Copic-coloured card. The set is called Happy Hello Floral and I paired it with the 2D Embossing Folder for this month. I found that the Distress Ink Spray created a quick background of colour and then using my Copics, I added a little depth and detail to the florals. I only have a few Distress Ink Sprays and I hardly use them. So I thought I'd stamp out the Spellbinders Stamp for this month in Memento Tuxedo Black and use the edge die to cut out the panel. This floral is sized just a tiny but larger than 5.5" but if you angle it more, you can easily fit it on an A2-sized card. 

I then used my Distress Ink Sprays to add colour in Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Prize Ribbon and Villainous Purple. I added the last two colours as splatter along with Distress Mica Sprays in Tarnished Brass and Brushed Pewter.

Once dry, I used my copics in Cool Grey colours to add some deptht to the flowers only. I also added some details with a white gelly roll pen. I adhered ths panel to an A2 cardbase with a grey panel embossed with the 2D Embossing Folder. I stamed and cut out the sentiment from the stamp set and added some gold pearls and clear gems.
