August Glimmer Kit of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

This month's Glimmer Kit is an absolutely gorgeous floral and there is a coordinating stencil you can add on too. I didn't get my hands on the stencil so I chose to just colour these gorgeous flowers in with my Copics. I love that this is just one large plate which makes foiling easy and cards fast to make! I thought the plate was shaped perfectly for a slimline card so I just went with it - hope you like it! As I mentioned this was a simple card to make that may take longer depending on how long you take to colour it in. I simply foiled the image on a 3.75" x 7.5" white cardstock panel using Polished Brass foil. (The foil with this month's kit is Rose Gold.) I then used some pinks, yellows, browns and cool greys to colour in the image.

I left a 1" section at the bottom of the panel and coloured it in grey. I really don't know why I did this but just went with my artistic whim! I then coloured in the entire background with black. I added a godl strip of glitter cardstock where th black meets the grey and added the foiled sentiment on black cardstock after adhering the panel to the card base.

I finished this card off with some Pinkfresh Studio Ballet Slipper glitter drops. I always find that Pinkfresh and Spellbinders coordinate so nicely.
