August Small Die & 3D Embossing Folder of the Month | Spellbinders Club Kits

The August 2023 Small Die of the Month features a pretty lady swinging in the breeze. As always this set includes some fun florals to dress up your card, but my favourite part of this one is that flowing dress. I like that you can design this dress in any which way! I actually used some of the floral dies from the Large Die for this month and used those to create a pattern on her dress. I went with bright pinks on neutral black and grey for more of an impact as well. I hope you like it! I started by taking the Blooming Pomegranate floral dies and cutting them out of SPellbinders Passion Fruit cardstock and a light pink and gold as well. I assembled and arranged these on black cardstock and then cut the dress from this patterned cardstock. I use glitter black cardstock for the under side of the dress and gave her black hair with a pink and black hat! 

I assembled the swinging lady by adding her face, legs and arms and cut the portions of the swing out too. My background was made using the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month but before embossing, I figured out where I would be placing my lady and used the curved HELLO die to cut the grey panel for my sentiment. I then embossed the panel with the 3D Embossing Folder. 

I cut out the rest of the flowers from the small die kit and arranged those around the swinging lady. Then I added a bunch of clear gems to the flowers and black gems in the background.
