The House Mouse Christmas Collection | Spellbinders

 Hello Friends!

This is my first time creating with these adorable House Mouse rubber stamps and I just love them! Spellbinders released the House Mouse Christmas Collection this month and I love how cute and detailed these stamps are! I even tried to pair them with other collections, like the one with Muzzy swinging from those string lights. I foiled the De-lightful Christmas tangled lights in the background since I thought they coordinated so well. I have 4 cards, all of which were coloured in with Copics, and I really hope something here inspires you!

Hold On!

This cute scene with the larger mouse and little ones holding one tail to tail is so adorable all on its own. I coloured it in with Copics and matted on light blue cardstock embossed with the In The Pines embossing folder. I added some Diamond Stickles for shine and attached some fake snow for a fun effect! I also drew in some snow with a white gelly roll pen over the mice.

Merry & Bright

When I saw Muzzy swinging on this string of lights, I thought of the plate released in Yana's De-lightful Christmas Collection last month. So I foiled the lights in silver foil, fussy cut the image and adhered it to the panel with foam adhesive. Then I heat embossed the sentiment on red cardstock and added some silver pearls. I love how this one turned out!

NOEL

I paired this cute Noel image with the BetterPress Evergreen Branches plates. I pressed them into light blue cardstock with French Blue ink. I fussy cut the image and added it on top of the letterpressed panel and heat embossed the sentiment on dark green cardstock. Then I also added some Diamond Stickles to the NOEL letters and a sprinkle of fake snow on top of the letters.

Mistletoe Kiss

My last card has these two mice kissing under the mistletoe! I used darker reds for the outer edges of the stripes of the candy cane and a light pink to fill in the center. This really gave the candy cane shome shine just from colouring! I matted this one onto dark green cardstock embossed with the Holly & Foliage 3D Embossing folder. I probably should have made this bigger card so I could show more of the embossing which coordinate so well with this image!
