The NEW Altenew August 2023 Release!

  Hello Friends and Crafters!

Altenew has a bunch of great NEW products available as part of their August Release! There is a bit of something for everyone. Card 1

This card uses the same design idea as in my video for the hop, except that I used a white background with pink ink blending!

Card 2

This card also uses the Zesty Life ensemble, but this time I stamped one lemon bunch on the card panel and propped up the other two to have various levels of dimension. And here I stuck to yellow lemons with with pink accents.

Card 3

Here I tried using the NEW white cloudy ink as a base on black cardstock. Then I added greens and yellows in dye inks to add a hint of colour. I cut down the panel and added a sentiment on white with a bit of a diagonal on the sentiment strip. 

Card 4

This card uses all layers of the Citrus Fruits Pattern stencils. I tried to match my colours to the colours in the Fruity Colors enamel dots sticker pack. Then I added the same colours to white carstock and cut them out in layers behind the sentiment. 

Card 5

This card was a labour of love. I had to repeatedly foil the Delicate Palm foil plates in Polished Brass and Silver foils. When you foil one frond on top of the other, it covers the foil below, so you can make great layered looks with foil. I added the Essential Greetings For You sentiment with some black, gold and silver twine to finish off this look. 

Card 6

I used the same layering idea here as in card 5. This time I used a different colour scheme and instead of bordering the panel with fronds, I created a focal point. I foiled the Hello Essential Sentiments circle andd attached it in the center. I also added a couple strips of brown glitter cardstock and pink enamel dots from the Fruity Colors enamel dots.

Card 7

On this card I went with the border of Delicate Palms again. This time I used dark green cardstock and polished brass and matte white foil. I cut out the palms with the coordinating dies and used the Slim Deco dies (an older Altenew set) to frame the sentiment. The sentiment comes from the Zero Waste Flowery Pattern Craft Your Life kit from a couple months ago. 

Card 8

This card was very simple to make. I simply picked a colour scheme and stamped out the layers of the Cupped Flowers stamp set. I added a gold frame cut using the Fine Frames Rectangle die and matted this panel on some purple cardstock.

Card 9

My second last card used the Flowing Leaves die in the background cut from some matte silver cardstock. I stamped out the smaller flowers from the Cupped Flowers stamp set and I added a layer of Transluscent Pearl embossing powder. I arranged the flowers on the panel and added a sentiment strip.

Card 10

My final card has a mini sneak peek of the Mini Delight stamp for this month😉. I've stamped it in the background with gold pigment ink. The flowers were simply stamped out in pink and green inks where I added darker inks around the edges to get a gradient. Then I cut them out and arranged them on the background.
