Here are some photos of the cards I made for the video hop. Be sure to click the link above to watch the full tutorial. Or you can scroll down for more inspo with this release!

Card 1

My YouTube video as part of the Altenew hop uses the Inspiring Diamond Bundle from this month's release to make a Christmas tree. In this card I've put together 4 of the side-view diamonds to make a top-view round diamond. I thought a pink diamond would look pretty here.

Card 2

This card uses the Magical Mirror embossing folder and coordinating stencils to create the background.  I stuck with metallic inks to give a modern look and I added an aqua diamond using the Inspiring Diamond sets. And the sentiment was foiled in gold foil and cut using the Essential Sentiments foil plate and coordinating die, which foils and cuts 9 sentiments at a time.

Card 3

This card was made to look like light is shining through the diamond and the resulting rays are the faceted colours within the diamond. I love this look and it's easy to do with some masking tape and a ruler. I then stamped out some Altenew Blush coloured stars in the background.

Card 4

On this card, I decided to stamp out 2 layers of the Inspiring Diamond, repeatedly in the background with metallic inks in gold and silver. I added the Enchanted Mirror die cut frame in gold mirror cardstock and added one of the sentiment strips made with the Essential Sentiments sets.

Card 5

This card was made using the Bold Bouquet Bundle and the Enchanted Mirror die. I embossed the charcoal pearl cardstock in the background with the Bold Bouquet folder. Then I added the Enchanted Mirror die cut, inked up with blue inks using the Magical Mirror coordinating stencils. Finally, I added the Bold Bouquet stamped and inked up image coming through the frame center, along with a sentiment strip.

Card 6

On this card I was going for a colour block look. I used the Enchanted Garden (purples) and Delectable Delights (beiges) families of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks to add colour to the heat embossed Bold Bouquet using the stencils. This still gives a gorgeous look with a bit of a twist!

Card 7

I usually, stick to using inks and the coordinating stencils with the sets that have them available, but I felt like watercolouring this time! So I used Altenew's 36 Pan Watercolour set to paint the Bold Bouquet and the background. I also stamped out the sentiment in a fun way with a bit of masking to make this card look more unique!

Card 8

This card was made using Altenew inks and the coordinating stencils from the Bold Bouquet set. I stamped out the image in 3 colours of ink to create a fade from one colour to the next. Next, I added ink with the stencils, making sure to keep the same colour in their respective areas to continue the fade from green-to-aqua-to-beige. I added some ink splatter in the background, heat embossed the sentiment and added some gold pigment ink on the edges. Then I tried to add some detail to the flowers with some coloured pencils. I really like how this one turned out!

Card 9

This is the final card I have to share from September's Release and this time I focused on the Bold Bouquet embossing folder. I added Sapphire Pigment ink to the folder before embossing a pink pearl cardstock panel. Then I added gold pigment ink lightly over the raised edges and the side of the panel. This alone was enough to give this gorgeous effect. Then, I added some gold twine and a sentiment strip. This is such a beautiful and simple card to put together.

And that's my bit of inspiration for the Altenew September 2023 Release! I hope you were inspired and there's a list of supplies/bundles at the end of this post for your shopping pleasure!
