Altenew's September 2023 Marvelous Monthly Series Release

Altenew's Marvelous Monthly Series for September is available now and I'm excited to be participating in their video hop today. There are $300 in total prizes up for grabs! Here are some photos of the cards I made with the Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet set for the video hop. Be sure to click the link above to watch the full tutorial. Or you can scroll down for more inspo with this release!

Card 1

This card was made using the Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet and I went with deep purples and pinks for this one. I added a bunch of dimension with the cardstock layers in the background and added highlights with a white gel pen. The sentiment is also from this set/kit and I have to say the sentiments in this set are gorgeous!

Card 2

This card was made using the Dynamic Duo: Wildflower Bouquet sets and this time I went for a softer and wispier look. The way the flowers bend over really adds to the flow of this card. This bouquet is gorgeous, and I love how the peach and red look with it! 

Card 3

This card uses the Build-A-Garden: Frilly Begonia set. I usually like to stick to the coordinating products that come with the set but here is an idea for those of you who like to experiment with watercolour paints. The bright red looks really striking on the black and I just couldn't resist using the Altenew Watercolor 36 pan set with this!!

Card 4

This card uses the Build-A-Garden: Frilly Begonia set and I actually got two cards out of the begonias that I inked up with the coordinating stencils. On this one, I heat embossed the background with the begonia in Altenew Rose Gold embossing powder and added a gold mirror die cut. 

Card 5

This card uses the Build-A-Garden: Frilly Begonia set as well and I used the rest of the begonias that I inked up for my last card. I added some brown glitter cardstock and mounted this on a peach background for a completely different look!

Card 6

Again this card uses the Build-A-Garden: Frilly Begonias and here I stamped out the sentiments included in the set along the background in Altenew's Cloudy White pigment ink. I stuck with some deep reds and added some gold glitter in the form of cardstock and stickles.

Card 7

My for my final card, I had some more fun with Altenew's Watercolor 36 Pan set. I heat embossed the Build-A-Garden: Frilly Begonia this time and taped off the edges. Then added some blues and browns on this one with a bit of splatter and a heat embossed sentiment to match.
