Altenew's October 2023 Craft Your Life Project Kit: Nordic Wonderland

Today I want to share some card inspo using the October 2023 Craft Your Life Project Kit called Nordic Wonderland. This is such a fun kit that includes a large stamp (with sentiments), coordinating dies, stencils and an embossing folder. Everything coordinates so seamlessly and I like that you can stamp, add colour and cut all of the images, then you can also add extra dimension with the embossing folder. Card 1

So this stamp set is amazing because you can stam out the large nordic illustration as I've done here and use the coordinating stencils to add colour. I added colour using a mix of Simon Hurley's Solar and Lunar pastes. They give such a great shine to these gorgeous images and show up easily on darker and lighter cardstocks. Not to mention, they dry very quickly so you can add a thin layer and then move your stencil without creating a mess. I hope you like it!

Card 2

This card uses the large nordic stamp as a background shadow print, stamped out with the lighter Rose Quartz Altenew ink. I then stamped on the sentiment and added the inked up wolf. Finally, I added some of the leafy heat embossed images, stamped and cut out with coordinating dies from vellum. The embossing powder used here was the Altenew Rose Gold powder - my fave!

Card 3

On this card, I heat embossed the nordic background with Altenew Rose Gold Embossing powder. I then used some Emerald, Desert Night and Pinkalicious Altenew inks to ink blend the background.  Finally, I embossed the panel with the coordinating folder and added a stamped and cut out sentiment.

Card 4

My final card made with the Craft Your Life: Nordic Wonderland set was embossed with the folder on white cardstock. Then I took the Gold Lunar Paste and lightly rubbed it on the panel over the embossed areas and edges. I added a heat embossed sentiment with some gold twine to finish this one off!
