Altenew January 2024 Release and Giveaway!

 Hello Friends and Crafters!

Altenew's January 2024 Release is available now and I'm excited to be participating in their video hop today. Now the Altenew releases have been changed just a bit in that the Marvelous Monthly Series and the regular relase will both release on the same day - today! It will be like this going forward from what I understand. So as usual, there are $300 in total prizes up for grabs! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $100 gift certificate to 1 grand prize winner and a $50 gift certificate to 4 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew video and/or each designer’s YouTube video on the hop list by 1/15/2024 for a chance to win. I have a bunch of inspo in this post, but please do click my YouTube Hop Video below and don't forget to comment to win!

Here are some photos of the cards I made with the Jeweled Botanicals set for the video hop. Be sure to click the link above to watch the full tutorial. Or you can scroll down for more inspo with this release!

Enchanted Beginnings, Tufted Elegance, Love Story Press Plates and Enamel Dots

This card uses the Enchanted Beginnings Embossing Folder and coordinating stencils. I love these products because they make such gorgeous cards for weddings and anniversaries! I will also have a video tutorial available for this on my YouTube channel in the coming week from this release. So if you'd like to see that please consider subscribing and hitting the notification bell to be notified when that video is posted. (YouTube link above)

This card also uses the same set, however for the sentiment, I used the Love Story press plates with the Spellbinders LetterPress. You can see that these products coordinate so nicely. I accomplished this look by using the letter press plates and then embossing and ink blending the image. Then I added some chunky glitter to the corners.

This simple card was made with the Tufted Elegance embossing folder and the purple enamel dots released this month. They add just a touch of color and the sentiment was made with the Love Story LetterPress plates.

Build-A-Garden: Daisy Crown

For both of these two cards (blue and red), I simply stamped and ink blended the daisies. I cut them out with the coordinating die and split the die cuts between these 2 cards. The red card background uses red vellum, embossed with the Tufted Elegance folder and I added some die cut leaves from white glitter and red glitter cardstocks for interest.

This picture shows how I store the cards and products for future use. I used the NEW Teal Zip 'N' Stash Envelope also released this month. This pocket is really large and also comes in Yellow and Blue colors. It comes in handy when planning projects because I can simply add the supplies I need to the envelope for future use. And added bonus - you can take it with you anywhere you go!

Jeweled Botanicals Layering Die Set

These two cards are made using the Tufted Elegance Embossing Folder and the Jeweled Botanicals Layering die set, which I use in my YouTube video. These are just two different colour combos.

Mini Delight: Beautiful Blooms Stamp & Die

This really simple card uses the Zero Waste Flowery Pattern embossing folder (which was a huge hit and was sold out but is now available in the store again) in the background. I added some ink on top and the floral  and sentiment from the Mini Delight set, along with some gold twine.

This picture features the Grey Zip 'N' Keep pocket which comes as a 3-pack. These also come in white and blue and really come in handy when planning your projects or transporting supplies.

Stencil Art: Playful Watercolor Flowers Layering Stencil Set

These two cards feature the new Marvelous Monthly Series kit called Stencil Art. On the first card I ink-blended a full flower branch and added the sentiment from the BAG set. And for the second card, I stenciled the second image to create a background. I then added the LOVE YOU Outline die as the sentiment along with the subsentiment strip. This stencil set has 6 stencils which create two seperate images which is really neat!

Acrylic Markers

My final card uses a stipling/dot technique with the NEW Acrylic Markers and the BAG Daisy Crown set for a bit of s different look. I like how I can layer the various colours using these fun acrylic markers and I think next time I will try these markers on some different mediums, since that is what these markers are ideal for!

And that's my bit of inspiration for the Altenew's January 2024 Release! I hope you were inspired and there's a list of supplies/bundles at the end of this post for your shopping pleasure! I will be back again in March sharing more Altenew inspo!

As always, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! Please don't forget to visit my profile on Instagram @deezinesbyd for more inspo.
