Welcome to the April Bugs 'N Butterflies Inspiration Hop with Scrap 'N Stamp! Our talented designers have put together some amazing cards with a mix of bugs and butterflies (to say the least 😉) and different styles to help spark your creativity. We hope these fun and creative cards provide crafty inspiration for your spring cardmaking!

My Inspo This Month
I used the Altenew Beautiful Butterfly BetterPress plates, dies and stencils to put this card together. And just as this spring this year has been a mish mash of weather, this card has a mish mash of techniques! I used the BetterPress butterfly plate not only to letter press the image in black but to foil the image in aura and starburst foils!
I went with a whole bunch of purple in the background and on the butterflies (Altenew Andromeda, Ultraviolet, Hydrangea and Wisteria Crisp Dye Inks). Then I added some metallic paint splatter with embellishments and the sentiment letterpressed in Altenew Antique Gold pigment ink.

ReplyDeleteHi Deepa. I am so happy to find you on this hop! All the techniques and details in your card just amaze me. It's just so magical. You have combined two of my favorite things; Butterflies and Purple. I love how the butterflies have a dark shadow and a sunburst shadow. You should send that to someone who will really appreciate it.
