Hello Friends and Crafters!
This month Altenew has collaborated with a designer named Sarah Simon. Her collection is called The Mint Gardener, which was just released today and I'm excited to show off her collection in today's video hop! As always there are $300 in total prizes up for grabs! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $100 gift certificate to 1 grand prize winner and a $50 gift certificate to 4 winners! Keep in mind that the way in which you comment to win is a little different for my video (and you may see this for other stops on the hop as well). In the video somehere, I will mention a specific emoji I would like you to comment with. Leave that emoji in the comments to guarantee your entry in the prize draw by June 28, 2024 for a chance to win. I have a bunch of inspo in this post, but please do click my YouTube Hop Video below and don't forget to comment the special emoji to win!

More Projects with Peony & Lilac Swag and Cupcake Cosmos
The best thing about both of these stamp sets is that they are large! They actually don't fully fit in the Altenew stamp wheel (I hope a large one is in the works, fingers crossed), so a larger stamp platform is a must. But since they are larger, you can stamp and ink up one panel and cut them down to make 2 cards, which is what I did with most of my cards for this release.
This card used the Cupcake Cosmos embossing folder in the background and I have half of the Peony & Lilac Swag coming in from the edge of the card. These stamp sets also have amazingly large and small sentiments which means I had to add a sub-sentiment here. I love this look on cards!
This is my second card with the Peony & Lilac Swag set. I stamped out the background and heat embossed it in Altenew Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I added the swag image cut in half and you can see that even though it is half the diecut, it still fills the card. Again I added my sentiment and subsentiment with Altenew's Red Jasper Gem Sparkles to finish off this card.
Projects with Garden Bouquet
My next card uses the Garden Bouquet stamp set heat embossed in gold on Artistry by Altenew Cold Pressed Watercolor Cardstock. I used the entire image and watercoloured it using the Altenew 36 Pan Watercolor set. Painting this image was so fun and relaxing. I really enjoyed detailing the florals and then creating a fun wash in the background. And then I cut the panel in half and created 2 cards from this image.
This is the second card I made with my large Garden Bouquet painted panel. I always love when you can get more bang for your buck in this manner. I added a simple heat embossed sentiment banner here so I didn't cover up too much of the gorgeous floral bouquet.
So I've showcased the products from this release with various media including inks, watercolours and this time I used the Woodland Garden Altenew Artist Markers. I am actually new to the Artist Markers (believe it or not) and I just had to give them a try. I have to admit that they are my new obsession. So I stamped out the image, coloured it in and cut it in half again to create two cards. This is the first of the two and I added my sentiment on a shaped diecut. I also have the background embossed with the Cupcake Cosmos embossing folder too.
The last card I'm sharing from this release uses the other half of my coloured image from the last card I shared. And on this one I chose to use a few strips of glitter cardstock to compliment the Garden Bouquet. I went with the same idea of highlighting the sentiment with a diecut shape. And I finished this one off with some Altenew Glacier Caves Enamel Dots.
And that's my bit of inspiration for the Altenew & Sarah Simon's
