Welcome to the Summer Fun Inspiration Hop with Scrap 'N Stamp! Our talented designers have put together some fun cards showcasing Sweet November Stamps products. I've decided to highlight the Skipper and Finna stamp sets and I jazzed them up with some Seashore sequins mix (also by Sweet November Stamps)!

My Inspo This Month

Card 1 - Skipper

These stamps are so pretty and really push you to explore your colouring skills. I recently got the Altenew alcohol markers and these are the ones I used to colour in these images. You can also use Copics and find equivalent colours. I coloured in Skipper here with some teals and purples and I simply scribbled in the background. I didn't spend too much time on colouring the background because I knew I'd be adding the Sequin Mix on top.

Sweet November Stamps also carries the Soft Seasore Sequins Mix and it has a bunch of fun plastic seashells, starfish and sequins. They really help enhance your scene and add texture. I also added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the sand to add texture as well. The sentiment was simply stamped onto the scene in Versafine Clair Twilight ink and this sentiment comes in the Skipper Limited Edition stamp set. All of these products are available in the SNS online store (product list linked at the end of this blog post).

Card 2 - Finna

I coloured this image of Finna in much the same as the last. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the hair and I added the scales on the fin with a coloured pencil. I find the fine tip of the coloured pencil helps add more detail that an alcohol marker cannot achieve.

Again, I scribbled in the background and this time I strategiclly added the Soft Seashore Sequins Mix in clusters on this background and around the sentiment.
