Good Things Will Find You Detail Leaf Card | Pinkfresh Studio Challenge
Hello Friends and Crafters!
I have another card I'm sharing for the Pinkfresh Studio September 2024 Challenge. This time I chose to use my own color palette of Warm Buff, Doe, Sapphire, Ballet Slipper and Cherry Blossom. I love this color combo and it turns out that I've had the Detailed Leaf suite for a while and haven't even used it yet! Since this month's theme is wreaths & leaves, I thought it would be the perfect product to use as a focal point for this card. I also have a reel on Instagram showing a bit of the cardmaking process, so please check that out too (link below)!

This challenge has been such a breath of fresh air. I've been creatively stuck for a while and using the gorgeous products at Pinkfresh Studio has really helped me overcome this block. Not to mention the challenge inspiration really helped too.
I started off this card by foiling the Detailed Leaf HFP 2 times using Rose Gold Foil. I used the coordinating stencils to add ink in Warm Buff, Doe, Ballet Slipper, Cherry Blossom and Sapphire inks. I then cut out both leaf stens with the coordinating die.
The background panel was cut from white cardstock using the Sparkling Diamonds cover plate die. I also cut a white frame using the Mini Slimline Frame die set. And to add a bit of detail in the background, I also cut the leafy portion of the Frame Builder: Botanical Circle set from vellum.
Next, I took all the cut elements along with the foiled and cut sentiment from the Wonderful Sentiments set and assembled the card. I overlapped the two detailed leaf fronds and added the vellum leaves behind them, along with some rose gold twine. I propped up the leaves and the mini frame with foam adhesive on the Sparkling Diamonds background. And then I added the sentiment in the center of the card.
Finally, I added some extra shine to this card with some Ballet Slipper Glitter Drops. I manipulated the twine, tucking it behind the die cut leaves and sentiment until I was satisfied with their positioning and that was it; I was done!
As always, thanks for stopping by. And don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! And don't forget to follow me on Instagram @deezinesbyd where I have a ton more inspiration and a short reel for this card!
