World Card Making Day Pinkfresh Challenge Card 1

Hello Friends and Crafters!

World Card Making Day was on October 5th but I didn't have a chance to make anything new to celebrate. So today I have a double post with 2 cards. This is the first post with the first card I made to play along in the Celebrate WCMD 2024 Pinkfresh Challenge, which is an Anything Goes challenge. This card wasn't inspired by anything in particular except that I just got a bunch of Pinkfresh products that I had to use! Needless to say, I had an amazing crafting session yesterday with these beauties! Hope you like it!

I started out by pressing the Blooming Arch plate into some Cotton Cardstock using the BetterPress Black ink. I then used the coordinating stencils to add gold pigment ink to the frame of the arch and a mix of Regal Kiss, Hydrangea, Peony, Raspberry Bliss and Stargazer to the rest of the stencils. I used the coordinating die to cut out the arch, which really made this arch stand out!

Next I used the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate to cut out an A2 panel of peach shimmer cardstock. I also pressed the sentiment from the Here For You Sentiments press plates set into the same cardstock and subsequently cut thisout with the coordinating die. Then to add another element of leafy delight, I cut some leaves from pink vellum using the oldie but goodie Curvy Leaves die set.

FInally, I assembled everything, propping up the center floral from the coverdie panel and the blooming arch with foam squares. I cut apart the vellum curvy leaves and attached them to the card with liquid glue by sticking the stems in the openings of the frame. To finish off this card, I added the sentiment off- center with foam adhesive and some Glacier and Clear with Gold Dust gems.
