A Magical Holiday Christmas Card

  Hello Friends and Crafters!

Today I'm sharing this vibrant green, gray and soft pink Christmas card. When I saw the Poinsettia Frame suite by Pinkfresh Studio, I envisioned this card and I had a great time bringing it to life! I used a mix of old and new products by Pinkfresh and I hope you like it as much as I do. I also have a reel on Instagram showing a bit of the cardmaking process, so please check that out too (link below)!

This card, although it has many parts, is very simple to put together. I used the Poinsettia Frame press plate with the BetterPress System and some PFS Metropolis ink to letterpress the image twice. I inked up one panel with all stencils except the background stencil and for the second panel, I just inked up the poinsettias. I cut the first panel with the coordinating die and I fussy cut the poinsettias from the second panel. Then I put this aside to diecut the rest of my elements.

I used the following Pinkfresh inks for my stenciling:
Poinsettias: Misty Coast, Rocky Slope, Metropolis, Ballet Slipper
Greenery: Sage, Eucalyptus, Evergreen
Berries: Ballet Slipper, Cherry Blossom

Next I used the older Sparkling Diamonds cover die to cut an A2-sized dark green panel of cardstock (Spellbinders Forest Cardstock). I also foiled the sentiment using the Magical Holiday press plate with Champagne foil and cut it using the coordinating die on the same colour of cardstock. My final element was the largest size of the Dotted Fancy Frames dies which I cut from Spellbinders Champagne glitter cardstock.

Before I assembled my card, I used the Fern Forest alcohol marker by Altenew to colour in the white border on the diecut poinsettia frame. You don't have to do this but it gives a more cohesive look with respect to the green background. I adhered the Sparkling Diamonds A2 panel to a white cardbase. I attached the poinsettia frame with tape runner dot glue. I used small foam squares to adhere the gold dotted fancy frame and then I added the fussy cut poinsettias with larger foam squares. I added the sentiment, also with foam squares. And finally, I added some PFS Iridescent Dew Drops on the poinsettia flower centers and some PFS Blush Glitter Drops randomly throughout the panel. And that's how this card came together!

I always love how PFS products work together so effectively and how easy it is to mix and match sets! As always, thanks for stopping by. And don't forget to leave me a comment, as I love hearing from you! And don't forget to follow me on Instagram @deezinesbyd where I have a ton more inspiration and a short reel for this card!
