Bags Tags 'N Gift Wrap Blog Hop | Scrap 'N Stamp Canada

   Happy Hop Day!

Welcome to the Bags Tags 'N Gift Wrap Blog Hop with Scrap 'N Stamp! Our talented designers have created some beautiful projects for the holidays that I hope spark your creativity! I've up-cycled some Amazon brown paper stuffing to create some gift wrap and used some larger die-cut images to create some tags to along with my giftwrap! I hope you like it!

As always we’ll be giving away a $50 Gift Certificate to one lucky person who leaves a comment along the way. Every stop is another chance to win, so please share the love with each of the talented makers! We will announce the winner on the SNS blog at the end of the month!

Here's the full hop order, in case you get lost along the way:

My Inspo This Month

TAGS

I made 3 tags which are simply die cut images or paper-pieced die cuts, and I added a foiled sentiment from the Spellbinders Delightful Sentiments set. There's room on the back of each tag to put the name of your recipient and you can see how pretty they turned out.

This tag uses the Stitched Ornament die set by Spellbinders. I added some gold glitter cardstock behind the red, and you can see it peaking through the holes of this stitching die. I often pass on the stitching to save time and just add some gems for shine.

This tree tag uses the Farmhouse Tree Builder stamps and dies by Honey Bee Stamps. This is also the stamp set I used to add patterns to the gift wrap (detailed later in this post).

This JOY tag uses the Immense Joy die from Penny Black. And again the sentiment is from the De-lightful Sentiments hot foil set by Yana at Spellbinders.

GIFT WRAP

For the giftwrap, I took some of that brown paper stuffing that you often get with your amazon packages and flattened it out as much as possible. Then I used the tree, stockings and gift box stamps from the Honey Bee Stamps Farmhouse Tree Builder stamp set to stamp out a pattern on the brown paper. This paper is perfect for upcycling like this as it is thin enough to be able to wrap a gift and the brown or khaki colour works well with any colour of tag.

As you can see in the picture below, I just eye-balled the spacing and used some Distress Picket Fence white pigment ink to stamp out the images. You will also need a large acrylic block or smaller ones if you choose to use smaller images. I found that placing multiple smaller stamps on the larger acrylic block made stamping out this paper much faster!

And here are some pictures of this wrapping with each tag, so you can see how nicely each go together!

And that's my inspiration for the hop. I hope I've inspired you to create something similar. Please don't forget to comment for a chance to win! All of the products used have been listed below for your shopping pleasure.

Have a Great Day and Happy Hopping!
